While conducting area clearance operations in Maungtaw and Yathedaung townships, Rakhine State, government troops were ambushed by about 60 attackers armed with guns, knives and spears near Mayintaung Village  at about 6:45am

A police post in Nurula, about three miles away from Maungtaw, was attacked at about 6 pm yesterday by armed men on motorcycles, resulting in the death of one officer.

While conducting an area clearance operation near the village of Kyetyoepyin Village, Maungtaw Township, Rakhine State yesterday,  Tatmadaw troops fought back to an assault by the terrorists, killing 10 terrorists and seizing a rifle.

This is the picture of hundreds of Rakhine people from Bwethedaung and Maungdaw area fleeing the area restlessly because they feel their lifes are unsafe after BGF and security guards have been attacked and a lot of weapons have been taken by RSO terrorists and Bangali villagers.
